Team Roster 2020 Season

Alastair McNeill

Ali joined the team in 2017, breaking his thumb the day before Euro's. He rejoined the team in 2019 and fortunately for us, made it to Euro's in one piece last year.

Alex Brooks (C)

Alex is one of the team captains. You can boil down his game into three parts; selfless offense, aerobic dominance and excellent defense. Maybe four, if you include the occasional wafty throw.

Alex Cragg

Balancing playing Ultimate and family life, Alex is a role model to us all. Since his blockbuster cross-London signing, he's brought work rate, experience and the dangerous combination of New Balance trainers and rolled-up jeans.

Alexis Long

It's hard to call someone who threw the winning goal in a European final a rookie but this is his first year in a Clapham jersey. We can't wait to see his around forehand more often.

Andy Hillman (C)

Andy joined Clapham in 2016. When he's not dreaming up defensive strategies, or running sideways in parks, you can find him throwing an around lefty flick past you on the mark.

Andy Lewis

After a sparkling mixed ultimate career, Andy decided to take his talents to the open division. Turns out it was an easy transition for him.

Ash Yeo

Ash Yeo has consistently been one of the best receivers in European Ultimate for the past decade. He's a get out of jail free card and a defensive monster when given the chance.

Axel Ahmala

Axel joined the team in 2019 off the back of an impressive start to his career in Glasgow. One semi-final callahan later and he's cemented his place in the squad.

Ben Funk

Ben's always been his best self and made the play to join Clapham in 2014. Fueled by coffee, this Pittsburgh native can do it all.

Chris Baker

Bakey's defense is notorious across Europe and in training. He only has one speed, and it's 100%. Since joining Clapham he's pushed everyone around him to get better and he's done it without his heart rate getting over 50 bpm.

Connor McHale

Connor transitioned from athletics into Ultimate and you can tell by the plays he makes. He's never afraid to fly through the air on his way to a block. Connor has also led the Clapham Outreach program.

Conrad Wilson

Noodling his way onto the team in 2016. He can throw and catch the disc around or over you, making him a nightmare to face on offense or defense.

Duncan Webster

Duncan joined Clapham in 2019. His combination of speed and pitch awareness makes it impossible for his mark to get the disc. We're looking forward to seeing him lock up players for many years to come.

James Freeman

James honed his craft as an offensive handler, learning how to slice and dice defenses in his sleep. In his second stint at Clapham he's gotten even better; this time being a stalwart in the sudden death D-line.

James Mead (C)

One of our captains. He's been breaking the mark, beating people up the line and outpacing people deep since secondary school. Pair that with an unrivaled work rate and it's a recipe for success.

Joe Swan-Thompson

Joe is a complete two way threat on offence. Handlers love throwing to him. Cutters love receiving perfect hucks from him. Everyone loves Joe.

Joshua Briggs (C)

Joshua Briggs joined the team in 2015 and has spent the last five years bombing forehand hucks. In 2019 "The biggest flick in Europe"- Joshua Briggs became the club captain and is helping push Clapham to new heights.

Joshua Eeles

Joshua Eeeles is in his rookie season for Clapham but he's been around the block. He has played for Great Britain at every possible age group. His explosiveness and throwing ability will make him fit right in on the team.

Justin Foord

Justin Foord #28

Katsuhude Hori

When ink hit the paper on our 2019 deal with Japanese team Nomadic Tribe, we were delighted to receive an offensive powerhouse. He's been a fantastic teammate and we're all looking forward to his second season.

Magnus Wilson

An offensive workhorse for the team. Magnus specializes in making the right decision and playing lights out defence when someone else doesn't.

Matthew Parslow

On joining Clapham, he helped set a new standard for throwing. His innovative nature opened up a whole new chapter in the playbook.

Nathan Wragg

Nathan joined the team in 2019 after refining his craft over in Australia with Melbourne Chilly. Since joining CU he has proved that he is the best in UK ultimate at single leg box squats.

Oliver Gordon

OG has terrorized the skies of European Ultimate for over a decade. He developed a thirst for winning on a tour of America with NexGen, joined Clapham and hasn't looked back since.

Oscar Modiano

Oscar joined the team in 2018. The only thing that's risen quicker than his ability, is his air-bounce backhand.

Phil Garner

Phil Garner is a complete defender. He has the pace, agility and strength to mark anyone on the pitch. We've seen him sky, point block and out-pace his way into the stat book. All in a days work for this tank.

Thomas Cartwright

Thomas is an F1 car with the fuel economy of a Prius. He's been churning up serious yards for Clapham since 2016.

Tom Abrams

When it comes to Ultimate, Tom has done it all. World championships - tick. World Games - tick. It's easy to see why. He balances precision throwing, strategy and explosive power to dominate his match-ups.

Will Rowledge

After an electric start to his career, William joined Clapham in 2018 in preparation for WUCC. He had a phenomenal season winning European Defensive Player of the Year and has been a walking layout block ever since.
